Open Gaddr CodeGaddr is built on open-source software and depends on it every day. Gaddr's own code is proprietary. We say so plainly, because a contribution page is exactly where people expect to hear the opposite.
We accept code only from identified people who have signed our contributor agreement. Here is the whole path, from the agreement to the record on Gaddr Chain.
Under the contributor agreement you assign the rights to what you contribute, so the code stays under one licence. Ask for it through the contact page.
Gaddr Code at code.gaddr.com is our own Git forge, on hardware we own. Every change arrives there as a pull request.
A pull request counts when someone other than its author merges it or approves it in a review. A pull request you merge yourself is recorded, and it never counts toward a reward.
Approved work appears on Gaddr's public list of contributors, as counts only and never with a repository name. Link your Gaddr Code login to your Gaddr account to be named, or stay under a stable pseudonym.
See the public list of contributorsOnce a day every contributor's counts are sealed into one fingerprint, a Merkle root, and written to Gaddr Chain. A root is never overwritten, and you can prove your own counts are in it without saying who you are.
Anonymity covers the public list and the attestation. Git commits still carry the author's name for people who can read the repository.
Two kinds of reward exist. Paid assignments pay today. Rewards per approved pull request have fixed rules and are not active.
Gaddr runs its own blockchain, Gaddr Chain. The test network is live. The main network is not, and Gaddr Gold is not on sale.
